A Community of Concern is a group of citizens of the Arkansas River Valley Area Council Freedom House in Russellville Arkansas who have been working together since 1993 to promote fellowship and communication among our community. The Freedom House is a place for residents and guests to meet and greet take advantage of the free hot breakfast served daily or join in social activities with other local residents like barbecuing dining out or just watching the beautiful Arkansas River as it goes by.
This is the first year that the Freedom House in Arkansas is holding an event to raise funds for the organization. This will be a chance for each of us to show our support for Freedom House in Russellville. In this past year we have received a number of donations of goods clothing and even money. Our volunteers will be at work all day and all night preparing for the evening events of the Freedom House. We plan on serving many free meals as well as participating in many social functions including live entertainment.
The Arkansas River Valley area is rich in history and tradition and we are very proud to be a part of such a wonderful community. We want to show our gratitude to everyone who has donated given and helped in this effort. It is our hope that we can raise enough money for Freedom House in Russellville to continue this great cause.
