One thing that is very popular at Casa Milagra Sober Living is their very own “diving center”. The center offers classes and workshops to teach people the basics of diving. They also offer lessons to teach how to fish and take care of the equipment that they use while on the water. The lessons also include how to handle different types of equipment while they are out on the water. This course is usually held twice a week and students are not allowed to leave until they are fully confident with what they learned. Other activities are also offered at the diving center such as snorkeling which allows students to explore the depths of the sea and learn about what species are present there. The diving center also has an experienced guide that teaches people how to safely and accurately use the diving equipment while on the water.
In order to become a resident of the community you must have a passport and proof of residency. Most residents are from Spain and other European countries but there are also a few who are American citizens.
