A Jewish Family & Children’s Service are the heart and soul of a Jewish Community. We can provide unique services and programs for our members at no cost to them, because we do not have to pay our employees or vendors! The majority of our community is not required to pay taxes, which is a real benefit. However, we recognize that some people in our community need more financial support than others. The Jewish Family Services has a variety of ways for us to provide support to our members. There are programs available for children from infants to teens that have behavioral problems and/or substance abuse issues. There are special programs for teens with various other issues. These programs range from drug rehab, teen group meetings, and parenting classes to help kids stay on the right path. We also offer a wide variety of other services including educational enrichment for kids. We provide free child care services for the kids who are in need of it, and sometimes, the kids may even get free child care from the parents! We believe that education is the key to a healthy community, and we make it our mission to ensure that our kids have access to the same quality education as all the other kids around them.
Our community services are provided in the Glendale area in the cities of Chandler, Tempe, Glendale, Surprise, Scottsdale, and even downtown Phoenix. Our outreach services include: Jewish schools, Hebrew day schools, Daycare Centers, Jewish Community Centers, Community Action Programs, Senior centers, Job Corps Centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, Special Needs Centers, Military bases, homeless shelters, and many other types of outreach services. Our goal is to provide a warm and loving community to our members while at the same time provide for our community through the best in family service programs and outreach services.
