Drug rehab is the process of psychotherapeutic or medical treatment for addiction to psychoactive drugs such as alcohol, narcotic, and illegal street drugs like heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, or cannabis. It can also include treatment for alcohol abuse, substance dependence, depression, anxiety, or other psychological disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and other conditions that involve psychological illnesses. This is also known as detoxification. The drug rehab program helps a patient deal with the addiction and helps the patient to overcome the problem.

There are different types of programs available for the treatment of addiction to substances. A complete treatment consists of a series of therapies and treatments. This includes the use of various forms of medications and psychotherapeutical treatments, sometimes combined with a course of outpatient inpatient treatments or group therapy. Detoxification requires a combination of all these treatments. Detox centers provide facilities and medical facilities for the patient to go through a detoxification period that can take anywhere from several weeks to a few months. During the detoxification period, the addict has to undergo a series of interventions aimed at restoring the individual’s mental and physical health to get them back to the drug-free state they were in before taking the substance.

There are many types of drug rehabilitation centers. These include inpatient programs and outpatient programs. Inpatient programs are generally designed to deal with substance abuse. In this program, a patient is admitted to a particular center for a period of time that varies depending on the type of treatment. The program may last only a few days or last longer. The patient usually stays at the center until their recovery has been completely cured. On the other hand, inpatient programs require a patient to stay at the center for a few months while they get help and assistance to overcome the substance abuse and get to the point where they no longer need the substance.
