Behavioral Systems Southwest the behavioral health and wellness management system developed by the Southwest Behavioral Health System of Oregon combines traditional methods of health care management with the innovative processes of behavioral health. The system is a combination of health and well-being practices including counseling education and treatment options for patients. This health care management system was designed for patients who are experiencing mental illness substance abuse problems depression substance addiction and other mental disorders. This system has been in place in Oregon for several years now and its success has encouraged other areas of health care as well.
The Southwest Behavioral Health System includes both hospitals and outpatient facilities and works with many of the same practices that are applied in hospitals throughout the United States. The mental health programs at the hospitals use many of the same techniques used in clinics for treating patients suffering from psychiatric illnesses.
