One of the top names in the world of education and research in Arizona, Brooks Jonathan PhD is a renowned researcher in the fields of science, medicine, and social work. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Promotion from Arizona State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso. He has worked with many local schools, organizations, and public agencies in Arizona and is currently the clinical director of an addiction treatment center in Phoenix AZ.
Dr. Jonathan is also an active volunteer in several community-based groups, including a local chapter of the Red Cross, Children for a Better Future, and the Tucson Housing Authority. He is also a member of the Arizona Democratic Party and has been actively involved in political campaigns over the past two decades. Jonathan has been on the boards of directors of several nonprofit and civic organizations. He is also active with the University of Phoenix, where he serves as an advisory board member and a professor at the School of Public Health.
His book “Rehabilitation Science,” published in 2009, received both positive and negative reviews, but his ideas remain in vogue in the Arizona education arena. While Dr. Jonathan’s work may not be relevant to your school today, he is still an inspiration to educators across the state and nation.
