The book “David in Tucson” tells about a very unique experience David had when he was a guest speaker at the University of Arizona. David had a lot of fun and learned a lot from the experience including how to make yourself a great speaker and how to build your credibility as an expert in the field you are speaking in.
You will see that the book is very clear and straightforward and does not give a lot of information. The information is there but it is scattered. For example, chapter four of the book discusses David’s presentation at a Tucson event. The chapter describes how he presented his topic and the audience reaction. In this section, there are some great examples of how to use the right tone and presentation to build your credibility and authority. However, David’s presentation did not have the impact he was expecting. He felt he needed to do more preparation before giving his speech.
What I liked about David’s book is that he provides you with a great set of tips on how to be a good speaker, but also gives you some ideas of how to be a good speaker in general. He talks about using your voice and tone to build your credibility and authority, as well as how to know if your audience is interested in what you have to say. I think the book is really worth reading because it provides a lot of great information and insight into the world of presenting yourself and speaking in public. It has a simple structure and it has some very good graphics. Overall, it is an easy read that will help you be a better presenter and a better speaker.
