A Chance for Change Counseling in Mesa AZ has one of the most comprehensive programs of treatment available in Arizona. “A Chance for Change is a state-wide outpatient counseling program, dedicated to helping individuals with substance abuse problems to overcome their substance abuse issues and become alcohol and drug-free.” Counselors at A Chance for Change receive both academic and professional training on alcoholism and substance abuse treatment. This means they have a wealth of knowledge about the disease itself and what treatment options are best for the individual. “TCA, Inc. is committed to serving clients with the highest degree of competence and expertise in all areas of substance abuse and rehabilitation.”

A Chance for Change offers two types of treatment. The first is a residential treatment. This can be a long term commitment or a short term plan. The second type of treatment is called “onsite” therapy. The goal of onsite treatment is to work with the client within their community so that the recovery of the individual is enhanced through a collaborative effort between medical professionals and the patient’s family and friends.

A Chance for Change offers both short-term and long-term residential programs. They offer both detoxification, which is a process which removes toxins from the body, and residential treatment, which are a more intense plan of treatment designed to help the individual overcome their addiction. The programs are designed to be adaptable to all kinds of individuals, including those who have severe addictions. A Chance for Change also offers treatment for alcohol and drug abuse. In order to get in touch with the counselors, the patient must call and speak with an intake counselor at their local treatment center. Intake counselors will then tell the client what services he or she needs and what kind of treatments are available for them.
