The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to help those in need of help with their addiction to alcohol and drugs. When it comes to treatment there are many options for those who have an addiction to drugs or alcohol but if you have been in a long term crisis you may need the help that this program offers to get back on track. It is also there to help those who suffer from depression due to the stress of being in this kind of situation.
This Center has three major components to it one is their 24 hour drug detox service. This is for those who may have an addiction to drugs and alcoholism this center has two different treatment programs that will help them through the process. The second program is the transitional care program which will help them as they continue with the transition to living a drug free life. Finally they have a community care center where those who have been in an alcohol rehab will be able to receive some sort of counseling.
They also offer outpatient programs and for those who do not want to go into a rehab they can try the short term programs that are offered to them. It is important to realize that addiction and alcohol are treatable especially for those who have been through the trauma of being in an alcohol rehab. There are many counselors that work at this Center some of these counselors are trained in behavioral therapy and others will work with people on medication. The main goal of all of these programs is to help those who have been in trouble get back on track and feel good about themselves again.
