The United Family Services Inc. in Little Rock AR is the largest and most prominent service agency in Arkansas. It was established by Dr. W.D. Farr an Arkansas native who came to the state to take part in Arkansas’s social programs as a foster parent. After he returned home Farr continued his work there and later formed the United Family Services Inc. in Arkansas.
The idea of United Family Services Inc. was created to help single parents and other families that needed assistance. One of the goals of the organization is to help provide assistance for the people of Arkansas. Some of the organizations that United Family Services provides assistance to are the state foster children the state prisoners and the state prison inmates. These groups will all need assistance with certain types of financial needs. Other services provided by United Family Services include helping to prepare meals for low-income children and providing information to the public on ways to prevent substance abuse and teenage pregnancy. Another goal of this organization is to get drug and alcohol treatment programs started in areas that need them so that they do not have to wait until they have a serious problem that requires professional treatment.
In order to become a client of United Family Services Inc one must have some type of financial need. There are several different ways that one can make the payment of their bills. The program may pay a portion of the bill or a percentage of the amount owed. They also may be able to offer other payment plans or financial aid that does not require a monthly payment to help those in need pay for their housing food and other expenses.
