Dr. Chang Alice is an associate professor at the University of Arizona School of Public Health and an adjunct faculty member at Arizona State University College of Medicine. Dr. Chang Alice is a professor in the Department of Family Medicine, School of Public Health and School of Medicine. She has been a practicing pediatrician for the last 20 years.
Dr. Chang Alice received her PhD from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva, Switzerland. This was one of the first PhD programs in Global Health and she is a recipient of the Doctoral Scholarship in Global Health (DPGH). She was one of only nine scholars to be awarded this scholarship. Dr. Alice also received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from University of Texas at Austin, where she pursued her undergraduate studies. The graduate program, she completed her doctoral work was part of the Doctoral Program in Global Health at the School of Public Health at the University of Arizona. Her doctoral dissertation focused on global health and the practice of pediatric practice. Her research focused on health education and policy in the context of global health.
Dr. Alice is also a member of the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatricians (AAP) in Washington D.C. Dr. Alice is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics and has been a member of the American Academy of Paediatrics. Dr. Alice is a co-author of several books on global health. Her publications include “The Practice of Pediatric Practice: Global Health and Policy”Pediatric Practice and Global Health”.
