Denton House is the third episode of the sixth season of House and the second episode directed by Jon Cassar. The episode’s theme is the ongoing fight between Dr. Melfi’s son Jonathan. Both parents seem to be working on a cure for a terminal condition that both of their kids suffer from. Jonathan gets sicker each day but the treatment he receives at home seems to keep his symptoms in check. Meanwhile Dr. Melfi continues to pursue her own agenda in her quest to find the cure. The show focuses on the parents-to-be’s relationship as they try to figure out what will happen to their babies once they have been born.
The Denton House is a hospital where the pregnant mother and father of the baby stay. The baby is brought into the hospital in the first episode and then the show takes place over the following few episodes. The hospital itself is a complex structure that requires the cooperation of several departments to ensure that the patient and his or her condition are treated properly. The hospital itself employs many different doctors to handle different medical problems. The doctors and nurses who work in the hospital are also the primary people who deal with patient calls and correspondence. The hospital also employs a number of other workers including the administrative staff.
The doctor’s office is where the patient calls to have a problem addressed. A patient can call the office to report any physical problems pain nausea fever etc. A patient may also call to have a question addressed by one of the doctors. The doctors are also very busy people. They take care of thousands of patient calls each week and many times a patient will call just to see if the doctor is free that evening. The doctors are also responsible for answering patient correspondence as well. The doctors also work closely with the hospital administration to ensure that the facility runs smoothly.
