Drug addiction is a complex condition that has many causes but the most important of these is drug abuse. You have to understand that once you come into contact with the drugs, the mind and body begin to respond as if they are intoxicated. The physical effects of these drugs include heart attacks, seizures, coma and death. Hence, the only way to get over this problem is to treat both the mental and the physical side simultaneously to achieve long term success.
