The story line that follows is about a family man who gets himself into a bad situation that leads to a road rage that ends up with him getting shot. The victim is taken in by an older woman and they try to make it work. But as time goes on, the woman begins to realize that she has been taken advantage of and feels that this man needs to get back at those who made him look bad. So when he goes missing, she finds out that he is being held against his will. In order to get her son to come home, she decides that she is going to take matters into her own hands and sets up a plan to take down the criminals.
The story is told from the point of view of James Schwartz, a man who was once involved in the very same situation as the one he describes. He explains how he got into this terrible situation and what went wrong with it. One thing that stands out is how he was able to make it through all the trouble with his life, only to end up having to deal with more of the same problems. After seeing how his life turned out and knowing what he went through, it’s quite amazing to see how he manages to stay on track.
Bisbee AZ is also a part of Arizona and the author does a good job of showing the people and places there. He makes the reader feel like they are actually living in Bisbee and taking part in their local culture.
