Marys Mission and Development Center is a local non-profit organization that strives to help the children in need of proper nutrition and education. This center has a special program which is specifically aimed at helping those children who are suffering from malnutrition and other health issues. These children can be very vulnerable to various illnesses due to lack of proper nutrition. Children affected by malnutrition usually do not attend any school and have problems with their physical development and education as well. Marys Mission and Development Center help to give them the much needed attention and they can start their lives afresh with a better future.
Kids affected by malnutrition mostly come from poor families who do not have the resources to properly feed them. In such cases they are left with very few options to improve their life. Some of them even end up in jail due to the lack of proper health care and nutrition. Due to this situation their lives are very hard and they tend to be more violent and aggressive than normal children. In most of the cases they do not get proper schooling or socializing either. However there are some of them who do attend school and have been able to achieve basic education. With Marys Mission and Development Center these kids have finally received the much needed attention and education that they deserve.
Marys Mission and Development Center were founded by the non-profit organization The Community Foundation of Northwest Michigan and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1996. As a non-profit organization it helps to empower the people of the community by providing them with an opportunity to provide for themselves and help the less fortunate people. These are the people whom we call our ‘By providing an opportunity to these people to become self-employed Marys Mission and Development Center have also helped them to build their own businesses. As these are very vulnerable children and they need all the help that they can get these people do not have any idea about how to take care of their business and they end up running into all sorts of problems.
