The University of Arizona Center for Liver Disease is a center where physicians are trained to cure liver disease. This center is located in Tempe, Arizona. This place has been serving the Liver Disease patients and the Hepatologists for many years. The Center for Liver Disease was established by the Center for Liver Disease Research and Training of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.
The program of this center is called The Center for Liver Disease Research. The center has been providing training and research to all the Hepatologists from all the parts of the country. This center also offers fellowship for the Hepatologist graduates who want to go abroad to work. The Program is funded by the National Institutes of Health and is sponsored by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. There are some courses which are taught at this place. In order to become a Hepatologist you should have masters or PhD in Hepatology and you should have good experience with Hepatology. The training and education provided by the Center for Liver Disease are very good and that makes it an attractive center to become a Hepatologist.
The program is provided by the department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. The training and education are done through the online mode, which makes it easy for the students. The program consists of four modules for the Hepatologist which includes biostatistics, nutrition, microbiology and cytogenetics. This course is conducted by the graduate Hepatologist as part of his training and education for becoming a Hepatologist. The other modules of the program are Clinical Training, Statistics, Biomarkers, Clinical Genetics and Cytogenetics.
