“Sober Apartment Lives” is a term coined to refer to transitional housing in the Scottsdale area for recovering addicts. “Sober Apartment Lives” was developed upon the principle that people who have successfully finished treatment program usually improve their chances of achieving long-term sobriety by moving into an extremely supportive yet intensely challenging Scottsdale sober housing environment. The premise is that a person who has successfully completed an inpatient drug rehab treatment program will be better able to live an independent life in an environment that will provide an environment that is conducive to sobriety.
“Sober Living” can be broken down into four different categories as follows: The first category is called transitional housing. This is the process in which a person who has successfully completed treatment moves from an addiction treatment center or rehab to a sober apartment generally in an out-patient type of facility. The second category is Transitional Living. This is the transition period where a person who has been through detoxification has completed a treatment program is in a halfway house and can move into a full time sober living facility but will not live there permanently.
Transitional housing is one way in which a recovering addict can get a foot on the road to complete sobriety. The third category is the Transition Living residence. This is where a person who has completed an inpatient drug rehab treatment program moves into their own permanent residence. The last category is transitional residential. This is where a person who has completed treatment programs has moved out of transitional housing but still have significant drug or alcohol dependency problems moves into a semi-independent residence.
