“Cortez Mental Health Center is the brainchild of James Goss and his wife Pam Goss. James has a background in drug rehabilitation and works with many other organizations. The couple opened a community center in Westwood Village Arizona which includes an individual family and group therapy room an exercise room and a group and social service center. The main goal of the center is to help individuals with substance abuse problems and promote recovery. “The primary focus of Cortez is the treatment of alcohol drug abuse and mental illness. It is dedicated to building a community where families can find support and healing.
“Cortez strives to offer high quality personalized and effective mental health care services to help its clients cope with both their substance abuse and other mental illnesses. Our staff strives to work within a holistic and multidimensional program that will provide our clients with the resources they need to live a fulfilling life and recover from their drug and/or mental disorders. We believe that by treating patients holistically we can reduce the negative effects of medication and the potential for relapse of addictive behaviors. We have established a strong therapeutic alliance with many local treatment centers and our programs are offered in a variety of formats to meet the specific needs of each patient. We offer a comprehensive outpatient mental healthcare program in addition to an extended program in our Westwood Village facility. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of every patient with whom we come in contact.
