The Ability Alliance of Southwest Alabama is one of the two regional treatment centers located in Tuscaloosa County, AL. The center offers residential, outpatient and emergency programs for adults and children, in addition to drug treatment and residential substance abuse treatment programs. The facility is located at 1016 Lityse Blvd., E., Suite 1002, Lityse, AL 35476. The facility is served by several local hospitals and other agencies. This center is affiliated with several outpatient treatment centers, including: Alabama Children’s Hospital, Alabama Hospital-Birmingham, Alabama Psychiatric and Mental Health Center, Bay Village, The Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham Veterans Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, Family Services of America, Heart of Alabama Medical Center, Infertility Associates, Kaiser Permanente, Martin House, National Center for Drug Education and Research, and The National Rehabilitation Hospital.
The mission of the facility is to provide the highest quality of health care for those who are a part of our community. The Alabama Addiction and Mental Health Services Department provide direct patient access to state licensed physicians and licensed nurses. Our goal is to give a voice and a hand to those who have been neglected or abused, while providing an environment that provides for the wellness and well being of everyone involved. Our mission is also to empower individuals and families by creating a more fulfilling and rewarding lifestyle.
The facility is housed in an auditorium designed specifically for residential drug treatment programs. Our facilities offer a safe and confidential environment for clients. The treatment programs, which include outpatient treatment programs and drug rehabilitation programs, are administered by certified doctors and licensed nurses.
