Native Health Care is an agency that serves the community of Arizona. It provides services in a community health clinic community health center Native American healthcare centers and a Navajo Tribal Health Management System. The mission of this non-profit agency is to provide a high-quality and efficient care system to Indian and Alaska Native people. It has over 400 members who serve as staff. It also has seven community healthcare clinics located throughout the state. There are four clinics in Phoenix Arizona.
Native Health has four clinics Native Health Phoenix Central NMW Community Health Center Native Health Arizona and Native Health Maryvale. Native Health is certified by the Arizona State Health Department as a Palliative Care Provider and as an Arizona Quality Ambulatory Health Services Provider by AAAHC. All of its programs are geared towards meeting the basic needs of patients especially those who have chronic health conditions. They focus on educating clients health professionals and communities about chronic illness and disease prevention and holistic health care practices. The organization’s mission is to improve health for all members of the Native American community and to help meet the health care needs of children and families through their unique programs which include family health education and community wellness programs.
Native Health Arizona was formed to be the first full-service clinic in Arizona to provide health services to Native Americans. The clinic offers primary medical care dental care physical therapy HIV/AIDS education nutrition counseling and more. A number of Native Americans participate in the programs through out the year. The center is also a leading provider of drug and alcohol addiction services. Many of the patients use these services to overcome their addictions. The center uses a culturally competent interdisciplinary approach to care. A large majority of patients receive their health care at the center.
