The Behavioral Health Program is a program of the Center for Behavioral Medicine in Denver Colorado. This program aims to provide all behavioral health services to children and adolescents of all ages including prevention treatment and relapse prevention. There are specific programs that are tailored for children with special needs such as autism ADHD or traumatic brain injury. All programs are designed to promote healthy relationships between children and families enhance academic development and provide parents with tools to keep their children safe.
The Behavior Health Program was first created by Dr. Bernard Jensen in 1993. At the time it was one of the few behavioral health programs in the United States. In addition they are also responsible for providing educational opportunities for children and families that are relevant to their needs and interests.
