Mental Health is also calling the mental state of an individual who is “functioning on a satisfactory level of cognitive, behavioral and emotional adjustment.” It should include the individual’s ability to function in the world with ease and without too much difficulty. There are different aspects involved in mental health that includes the person’s ability to learn, interact, work, think and interact with others. These aspects help the individual to achieve their goals and attain good health. A person with mental disorder may not be able to think logically or may feel depressed and experience some symptoms like confusion, disorientation and agitation. This mental disorder may be because of some trauma or other reasons but the effects of this disorder on the person and his/her family could be disastrous.

There are different aspects that determine the level of mental health. Some of these factors may be genetic, environmental. In a person who does not have any genetic, environmental or other factors, his/her mental health may be affected by the severity and frequency of the disorder or the cause of it. However, people who have genetic disorders do have more serious mental disorders that may affect the family and may lead to fatal diseases. The first stage of mental health in any person is the early years. During the early years, the mental health of an individual is affected by the nature of the parents. People with ADHD and Autism are more likely to develop mental disorders than the average person.

The second stage of mental disorder is schizophrenia. In schizophrenia, the mental health of an individual can be affected by various factors like genetics, stress and medication. People with schizophrenia do not usually go through life happy. They go through severe mental disorders and have a low chance of recovery. The last stage of mental disorder is bipolar disorder. In this mental disorder, the mental health of an individual is affected by various factors such as family history and genetic. People with bipolar disorder have a high chance of becoming violent and commit suicide because of their condition.
