the Island Intervention Center has been funded because they have received grants from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health to expand their services and help the local community.
The new drug detox center is set to open its doors on Tuesday, May 22.
An official ceremony for the inauguration of the new drug detox center will be happening on the same day, at noon at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Services campus.
