Human Development is the developmental process characterized by the development of the material conditions that most significantly influence the potentialities of exploring and realizing the emotional spiritual mental physical and sociological cultural and personal potentials of every human being. The concept of developmental has a deep implication for the social sciences where it is the basis of various theories and research methods. Human Development is characterized in different ways. Human Development is often described as being a complex process or series of events which affect the lives of every person and their environments.
Human development is a complex process. It takes place over the course of a person’s life. It encompasses the stages through which every human being enters adulthood begins to build a career and lives his/her personal life and eventually becomes old. This process is not linear. It also varies from one individual to another and from one culture to another.
Human development includes a variety of activities like: physical growth socialization and communication learning and intellectual development. These activities are not uniform and occur at different rates in different individuals. The development of an individual also depends on his/her social environment. Most children are capable of developing at the early age of five but it may take some years before they become capable of taking part in social situations. Thus the human development takes place in various environments.
