New Horizon Youth Homes is one of the most unique affordable and effective companies that have been helping the homeless since 1970. Mission Statement: Not available. New Horizon Youth Homes has been providing emergency services and emergency assistance to homeless people in the Phoenix and Tempe areas for twenty-five years. Our mission is to help those who are in need regardless of their gender race or religion and we know that there is no reason that a person cannot live on the streets if they choose. Our program consists of outreach services crisis response services supportive services and recovery programs designed to help those who need it most.
Our staff is composed of trained compassionate caring and dedicated individuals who have a desire to help those in need. We do not discriminate on religion race sexual orientation age or any other reason which is why our services are available to everyone. Our mission is to provide a safe clean healthy environment to those that are homeless. If you are a child or teenager that is homeless or struggling to make ends meet our programs are designed to assist you. One of our services is called The Pathways Project. This program provides a safe secure place to live for the homeless with food shelter and medical attention. As an added benefit it helps individuals get the education they need so that they can get back into school and earn a college degree.
Another service that we provide is called New Horizons Education. New Horizons Education provides education services for children who are homeless including basic literacy reading and math skills. Our program also provides services for those adults who are experiencing issues with substance abuse. In addition our youth homes are a community of people who care about helping other people become well-adjusted and successful. Our youth homes encourage the involvement of the children in many aspects of the programs that they are attending. New Horizon Youth Homes strives to ensure that the children’s lives are as supportive as possible while providing an atmosphere of warmth friendship love education and self-confidence.
