New York City Invests in Drug Addiction Treatments

offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options and a handful of syringe-exchange sites will be able to provide MAT by the middle of the year.

Additionally, the five boroughs of the most populous city in the nation currently have more than 130 addiction specialists and health care providers available to assist residents who need professional help related to substance abuse.
