Aurora Recovery Center an independent outpatient addictions treatment center near Winnipeg Manitoba is becoming the focus of the news media today. Aurora founder and chair Paul Melnuk stated the following on the website announcing the new center: I am excited to announce the opening of Aurora Recovery Center a long term outpatient rehab facility located at 507 Fifth Avenue in downtown Winnipeg. The centre will provide a safe clean and sober environment for all residents while providing treatment for alcohol and drug addictions. Aurora is one of only three addiction treatment centers in Canada open 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Aurora is not just a drug rehab center said Paul. It’s a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre. He also states that the center is designed with one goal in mind – recovery. The hospital atmosphere of Aurora will provide the necessary support and encouragement that addicts need to get through each day without having to rely on alcohol or drugs. If an addict is struggling with alcoholism or if an addict has an addiction to drugs he or she can benefit from the support of this community of patients who share their experience their feelings and their hopes for a new clean life. The new centre Aurora Recovery Center will be a residential rehab facility and will have both an outpatient and an inpatient treatment program.
Aurora Recover has recently opened in Downtown Winnipeg. This is the second outpatient treatment centre in Canada and the fifth in North America. We are proud to be part of the growing healthcare industry in Canada said Paul. There is no doubt that Aurora has come a long way in the last few years in terms of customer service treatment quality and the environment we provide our patients. Our goal is to continue to make improvements to our services to ensure that we offer our patients and their families the best possible care. Our goal is to provide the highest level of patient care with the lowest rate of recurrence and relapse. The facility is located near the University of Manitoba and it is expected to be fully operational in July.
