Located in Toronto Arizona Mirasol Inc. provides mental health services to a variety of individuals ranging from families to children teenagers to seniors. These agencies also provide services to individuals with co-occurring disorders such as bipolar disorder and other anxiety disorders as well. ” Mirasol was founded by three psychiatrists who recognized the need for comprehensive treatment of mental illness. In recognition of the growing needs of this special population Mirasol has expanded its services to include specialized outpatient treatment programs and crisis services for clients who have an acute mental illness.
These agencies provide both inpatient and outpatient therapy programs. Outpatient therapy is generally longer term than inpatient therapy. The goal of outpatients therapy is to assist a person with the symptoms of his or her illness. Once the patient is stabilized they may be treated to address long-term problems. Both types of therapy have worked well for many of our clients resulting in their successful recovery. However there are some clients particularly inpatient clients who will benefit from outpatient therapy more than inpatient therapy. Inpatient therapy usually results in a more intense treatment of the underlying mental disorder often resulting in the recovery of a patient quicker.
